Cedar Hill Recieves a 2nd Transfer from Woodrow Wilson - Charelston Rambo

Also reported by EJ Holland from Horns247. Rambo is a 4 star WR with scholarship offers from Miami, Arizona St., Kansas, SMU, North Texas, and Texas Tech. Like Speedy Green, Rambo is transferring from Woodrow Wilson and is also a junior to be.

2015: Earned first-team all-district honors as a junior....2014: Was named the District 11-5A Offensive Sophomore of the Year while at Dallas Woodrow Wilson HS

Will these players be sitting out a year as required by the UIL?

I imagine they still have to go through the powers to be for final approval but they wouldn't have to sit out a year if they moved into Cedar Hiil's attendance zone or if Woodrow Wilson is one of those poor performing schools.

Oh nothing to see here just a few transfers that's it. It's not like the wide open recruiting that is allowed by private schools or in other states

They are winning the free agent war, Katy better get with it and free up some cap space.

They will have to have there paperwork in good order and see how the DEC responds in August. The deaf one is recovering from a broken hand and is still in a cast and this position (WR) is stack so someone will be playing JV.

Right. And Kaegun Williams isn't the best back on your team either. Green can play either side of the ball. Rambo sure is hell ain't playing JV

Cameron Buckley, Jaylon Jones, Kaegun Williams, Avery Davis, Josh Stewart.... you can only start 11, and 5 of those 11 tend to be linemen. With Rambo and Green and who knows who else is coming up from JV over there, talk about an overload of blessings. Somebody really really really talented is going to be learning a new position.

Rambo is a better WR than Jones and Buckley IMO. Green will probably be moved to CB or safety but to say either one will play JV isn't true, not even close to be true.

The best 3 WRs in Texas for the class of 2017 are Hezekiah Jones of Stafford high school, Charelston Rambo, and Damion Miller from Tyler John Tyler. In my opinion anyways. The 2017 class of WR's is very deep though.

seriously, how tough is it going to be to pass the DEC vote? Me thinks not very.

I guess your program is now reaping the benefits from growing into one of if not the best program in the state. The sense of community is no more. I guess the next thing we will see is the Mansfield schools or Denton schools becoming open enrollment. Gone are the days when this game and sport of Texas HS football used to be somewhat pure

Since you don't know the players, he will have his hands full getting starting position if he is clear to play. Green has been move to CB and will compete with 6 other CBs and Williams is not the best RB on this team, this is 6A, not 4A, but nice try!

Green was an obvious choice to move to the defensive side of the ball the kid can hit. I know it's hard to admit that your best WR and RB this year are transfers but enjoy them while you got them.

I think this is a good idea. Would give us something to reflect on after the season is over. The transfer thing doesn't look like it is going away anytime soon, plenty to discuss to help get us through the next off season..

Not sure if even possible, but I would be very curious to see out of all the transfer/move-ins, how many are denied and approved eligibility. What's the ratio? Seems very few are denied, or at least you don't hear about it often.

so since Adrian Peterson didn't play 5A at the time does that make him any less of a running back?

It it is nonsense to insinuate that because a kid doesn't play in the states largest classification that he is any less of a player.

It it is nonsense to insinuate that because a kid doesn't play in the states largest classification that he is any less of a player.

It's definitely not a one size fits all, meaning not every 3A or 4A player, at least your average or below average player might find the difference between the 2 more difficult or not performing at the same level. Kaegun Williams or your example of Peterson will not have that problem.

Kaegun Williams is a bluechip stud and will excel at any classification or school. I don't know much about CH RB's or who is better, but I think Williams is one of the best backs in Texas. That will sort itself out when the fall camp begins.

If Jarrett Stidham would have transferred from Stephenville to Cedar Hill last year you better believe he would have started in front of that lefty inaccurate QB they had. Same situation going on here just at the RB position. Homers will always feel the players who they have are better than any move in especially a move in from a smaller classification.

Only those moving or transferring to Trinity & SLC.
