Attempting to play the odds, there is certainly going to be 2 teams from all 4 regions at the quarter-finals. Nevermind that IF they all played in a total round-robin playoff there would be more DFW and Houston teams left at that point.
I can imagine that they comprised their top 25 from each region and took turns adding the teams until they reached 50.

I agree I know they had a good season lat year and bring a lot back, but so did Katy and Manvel and both of those return a lot also.
