Texas to fire AD

a lot of noise out of Austin this morning that Texas is going to fire AD Steve Patterson.

Yep. I really like the Charlie Strong hire and love the Shaka Smart hires. After that, no big shakes from me. He brught beer and some local concessions to DKR/FEC so cool, but meh for me. What has been an issue is all the bad press. Some of it made up and non-sensical like the bands paying tickets. It is clearly a bad situation when your AD is coming under so much attack from the fanbase and more so from the media bith regionally and nationally.


Our contract with Nike is up at the end of September/October so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

Maybe this will axe the idea of playing games in Mexico City and other international cities it seemed Ptterson was pushing for as well. You think this opens the door for somebody like Oliver Luck?

I personally think Luck would be a good match. Should have hired him the first time.
