The Wylie Bulldogs came away with two wins Friday night as they continued district play against Mineral Wells.
The fourth ranked Lady Bulldogs defeated the Lady Rams 56-38.
In the third quarter, the Lady Bulldogs had a strong passing game, and they finally kick it down low to Makaela Mosley who makes her layup putting Wylie up 35-21.
Moving on to the fourth quarter, a long pass across the court to Shannon Seale allowed her to drive in the paint to put up the layup.
The Lady Bulldogs roll to their fourth straight victory in district play.
In boys basketball, the 11th ranked Bulldogs beat the Rams 64-30.
The Bulldogs took the lead early in the fourth quarter, and got their second score of the night when Josh Novil sinks the three from the corner.
Later on in the first, a pass down low to Dion Novil on the block who leans back, takes the shot and nails it.
Another three-pointer came for the Bulldogs in the first quarter when they kick the ball out to Chris Henderson who sinks the thee. That puts Wylie up by ten.
Wylie continues district play a week from Friday at home against Graham.
