    AHS Eagles Get 19th Straight Win; Girls Fall to Central

    The Abilene High Eagles extended their winning streak to 19 with a close win over San Angelo Central. The Eagles were able to hold on and take it 48-47. The Lady Eagles were trying to get their second district win, but they couldn't take down the Lady Cats, as Abilene High falls 54-51.



    In the boys game, Abilene High was leading by three in the 3rd quarter when Diamond Gary knocked down a three pointer to put the Eagles up by six.



    In the fourth quarter, Austin Johnson missed his lay-up attempt, but Qua'Shawn Washington got the putback to go to put the Eagles up by four.



    The Eagles were able to hold on down the stretch as they take it 48-47. Abilene High has now won 19 straight games.



    The Lady Eagles were trying to get back on the winning track as they took on San Angelo Central.



    This was a close game all the way down to the wire, but the Lady Eagles couldn't get the win, as they fall 54-51.
