AHS's Gary Is At Top Of His Game

Abilene High's Diamond Gary is having one of those seasons that Eagles fans are going to talk about for a while.

The senior is dominating in district play after 4-games.

He's pouring in an average of 27 points a game every time he takes the floor.

To quote his coach Don Heseman, "He's scoring a lot and not turning the ball over."

It's been a good year, and the Eagles are looking forward to from him the rest of the way.

Peyton Killam said, "He's a big player. He dropped 37 the other night. That's just great. He's a hard worker and he's great on our team "

Diamond Gary said, "I'm in here most of the mornings to put up shots. Just constantly working on my shots and stuff. I love the game. I've just been playing it ever since I was young, and to do it as my high school career, it's great."

Killam said, "Well he works hard. He comes in sometimes in the morning and works out before school. He's constantly shooting. We constantly give him the ball and try to help him score.

Gary and the Eagles are riding a 19-game winning streak.

They look to make it twenty on Friday night at Eagle Gym against Odessa Permian.
