Signing day for the Cooper Cougars centered around four athletes Wednesday afternoon in the Cougar weight room.
Two football players, a volleyball player, and a tennis player are moving on to the next level.
Aaron Anderson will be heading to Stephenville in the fall after signing with Tarleton State. Things just felt right for the senior with the Texans.
Aaron Anderson said, "Just being on the campus with the guys from day one, even coming up to school, they just showed some love and compassion, and like that family like the Cougar nation's got."
His high school teammate, Jonathan Castaneda, will be playing football for Hardin-Simmons next season.
On the volleyball court, Emarie James is heading down Sayles Boulevard to join the McMurry War Hawks.
Finally on the tennis court, Levi Cook is joining the Arkansas-Fort Smith Lions after signing with the program Wednesday. Cook is excited about the opportunity.
Levi Cook said, "It means a lot because I've always wanted to play college sports since I was a little kid, and now I finally get to fulfill my dream."
