The Lubbock Cooper Pirates swept the Cooper Cougars Friday night.
Starting off with the guys, in the first quarter Donovan Robinson brings the ball up the court, reaches the thriee point line and fires the shot. He makes the three, and the Cougars are leading by eight.
However, the Pirates are still working. AJ Perez finds Braden Buckley on the inbounds. Buckley pulls the trigger and nails the three. That bucket put the Pirates up by three.
Lubbock Cooper went on to get the five point victory taking it 55 to 50.
Moving over to the Lady Cougars who are still looking for their first win in district play, however, they take another loss.
The Lady Pirates take the ten point win, 47 to 37.
