The Cooper Cougars fell to the Lubbock High Westerners in a double overtime battle 62 to 57.
In the third quarter, the Cougars moved the ball around the arc and found Jonathan Doss in the corner for the three ball putting Cooper up 34-27.
Later on in the third the Cougars got a little careless, Ethan Espinosa came away with the steal, picked it up and hit the layup. He gets the and one and ties the game.
Moving on to the fourth quarter, Issac moreno drives to the basket, get the and one of his own, and the Cougars go up 37 to 34, but they wouldn't hold on.
Two overtimes later, the Westerners were able to pull out the win. Cooper will host Plainview on Tuesday night.
