    ACU Falls To Sam Houston St., 84-71

    The ACU men lost to Sam Houston State, 84-71, Monday night in a game played at the Mabee Complex on the HSU campus.



    The Wildcats played without leading scorer, freshman guard Jaylen Franklin, who was out with the flu.



    ACU's other two leading scorers, guard Parker Wentz and senior center Duran Porter, also failed to score in the game.



    The Wildcats are now 11-14 overall and 6-6 in the Southland, while Sam Houston improves to 14-11 and 9-4.



    ACU is back in action Sunday at 1 p.m. when it hosts Southeastern Louisiana at Moody Coliseum.
