The Clyde Lady Bulldogs took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back in their 55-40 victory over Bangs on Tuesday night.
The Lady Dogs used a strong presence down low and were hitting from the three point line in the first quarter to build a 7-point lead.
That lead grew to eleven points by the end of the first half at 27-16.
The third quarter was the breaking point for Clyde over Bangs in this one. The Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Dragons 14-9 to build that lead to 41-25 heading into the final stanza.
Clyde advances and will face Merkel in the Area round later this week.
