The ACU women are set to get back on the court for a game Wednesday night in Corpus Christi.
It's been a while for the Wildcats.
Their last game was a victory over Sam Houston State last Wednesday night at Moody Coliseum.
That is a long break in the middle of the season, but head coach Julie Goodenough says it was needed, and her girls are ready to get back to work.
Coach Julie Goodenough said, "Our bye week could not have come at better time. We really needed a break I think to step away mentally and just focus on ourselves for a couple of days, and we were able to do that. We were able to take a Saturday off, a rare Saturday, so about half of our team got to go home and see their families and came back Sunday night and had one of the best practices of the semester. They're ready to come back fired up ready to get after our next opponent. So, the bye week was really good for us."
The Wildcats face Texas A&M/Corpus Christi on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
