The Wylie Bulldogs are headed back to the second round of the playoffs which is nothing new around Wylie.
Wylie has been to the state tournament five of the last six years. The current group of seniors have seen two of those trips, so they know what it takes to win in the post season.
These girls know that it takes a full team effort to win at this phase of the season, and the upper classmen are doing their part to make sure the younger girls are ready to go.
"We've been talking to the younger girls a lot, all of us seniors saying, you want to know what it's like to go to state because it's the funnest thing in the world, and getting them excited for it because that gives them something to play for, so each game we go into, I'm like, well what would we do in playoffs, how would you play if we were in a playoff game or if we were at the state tournament," senior Shannon Seale said. "That kind of gets us in the mood to play each game like we're in front of ten-thousand fans, and that we're playing our hardest anytime we play."
The Lady Bulldogs continue the 2016 playoffs on Friday night, and they are headed to Lipan to face Kennedale at 6:30 p.m.
