The Wylie Bulldogs continue their run in the class 4A playoffs Friday night in Brock.
The Bulldogs rolled through the first round with a 54-point victory over Vernon on Monday night.
First and foremost, the goal is to win the playoffs, but it's even better when you play well in that first round victory.
"To get out there and get that first win under our belt, it's a different feel," head coach Gregg Ruffin said. "Playoffs are a different feel than district games, so just to kind of get that under our belt and get ourselves going, let the guys who, we were able to get a lot of guys a lot of time, so those guys who haven't been in the playoffs before kind of got a feel for it, so that was a good thing for us."
"It's so much fun because this is my first year in the playoffs, and we've got a good team, just a bunch of great guys, and it's been a whole lot of fun," junior Casey Jeter said.
The Bulldogs will take on Midlothian Heritage at 7 p.m.
