The Wylie Lady Bulldogs are headed to the state tournament in San Antonio after defeating Midland Greenwood 52-32 Saturday afternoon.
This trip to the state tournament marks Wylie's third consecutive trip.
Wylie was strong all the way through the final Saturday afternoon. In the second half, Brittany Brewer gets the ball on the inbounds play and puts it right up for two as Wylie led 32-16.
For Midland Greenwood later on, Natalee Karcher drives all the way down the court for the transition layup, but Wylie still led.
Wylie's turn again, and it was Madi Garcie with a mid-range jumper, and the Lady Bulldogs came away with the win and the ticket to San Antonio next weekend.
