    Second Half Comeback Leads to Wylie Victory

    In the class 4A regional tournament, Wylie and Brownwood were in action Friday night.



    The no. 7 Wylie Girls made a major comeback against Seminole in the second regional semi-final.



    Seminole started out strong in the first half as Keyla Poole hits a three-pointer as the Maidens take the lead.



    Wylie's turn with the ball, and they kick it out to Brittany Brewer for the jumper from the key, however, Wylie scored just two points in the first quarter and trailed 21 to 12 at halftime.



    The Lady Bulldogs were able to cut the lead to 28-27 in the fourth quarter. Brewer played the end of the game with four fouls and a lot of heart as Wylie managed to pull out the victory. They will take on Greenwood in the regional final on Saturday.







    Brownwood, on the other hand, will not be advancing because their season came to an end Friday night after a 65-35 loss to Greenwood.



    The Lady Lions' appreance marked their first time ever in the tournament.



    Greenwood played very well, and they force the turnover and go in for the layup to increase their lead.



    Later on, the Rangerettes with the ball. They drive to the bucket and get the tough layup making an even bigger gap for Brownwood to try to catch.



    Brownwood tried to cut the lead as Trejouir Wilson goes to the whole and scores for the Lady Lions, however the Rangerettes were too much for the Lady Lions.
