The ACU Wildcats clinched a share of the Southland Conference title Wednesday night with their 66-58 win over Incarnate Word.
The Cats were feeling it early when Paris Webb found Sydney Shelstead for a quick two. That gave ACU a two point lead.
Later in the first, the Wildcats were trailing by one, but Alexis Mason got the rock, and made her shot to put ACU back in front by one.
They were able to extend their lead when Suzzy Dimba drove the lane and found the bottom of the net.
ACU would go on to take the game 66-58. They clinch a share of the conference title, and will close out the regular season Saturday against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
