The Roby Lady Lions get the State Tournament started on Thursday morning down in San Antonio.
The Lady Lions have a tough challenge ahead of them in the semi's.
Lipan is the highest ranked team left in the Class A playoffs., and they've won fourtenn straight games against Class A opponents.
In other words, it's going to be a tough day on the court.
Head coach Shannon Fisher said, "Lipan's a great team. They've got some great size on the inside. They've got a 6'1" on the inside, a big girl, who does a great job, a little lefty. They do a great job with the pressure defense. They like to trap you in the corners and that kind of stuff. They've got a guard out front. She's a good shooter, a good penetrater. We'll definitely have our hands full. We'll put together a little game plan to see if we can take care of them."
Roby's game with Lipan is Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Alamodome.
