The Albany Lions outstanding season came to an end on Friday night in Levelland with 52-33 loss to defending state champion Canadian.
The first half of the game was pretty tight with the Wildcats leading the Lions 25-18 at halftime.
Canadian started to pull away in the third frame. They outscored Albany 15-6 in the quarter to take control of things at 40-24.
Albany tried to get back in the game in the final quarter, but the fifteenth ranked Wildcats had too much.
Albany's season ends with a 17-4 record.
