The Ranger College Rangers will not be heading to the NJCAA National Tournament after their 71-65 loss to Odessa College Saturday.
The Rangers looked strong early on when Chase Carlton drove the court, pulled up inside the three-point line and drained the shot, but the Rangers did trail by three.
Later, a quick pass up to Jordan Geist at the top of the key adds three points to the Rangers' score.
However, Odessa was too much. Evan Taylor drove coast to coast then dumps it off to Louis Adams for the jumping layup.
Billy Gillispie's team finished the season with a 28-5 record.
