The ACU Wildcats continue their run-up against some of the best baseball teams in the country today in Oklahoma taking on 22nd ranked Oklahoma State.
Games like these are the best way for the Wildcats to find out what it takes to be among the best, and players like relief pitcher Nick Palacios are looking forward to this weekend's challenge.
"They're tough opponents," Palacios said. "I mean they are a little, higher caliber, but as long as we stick to our game, small ball, and executing each pitch, I think we can go head on with those guys. We're not a powerhouse team. You don't see us hitting three or four homeruns a game or whatnot, but definitely small ball. We do rely on our speed a lot, so getting the bunt down is a key factor in that, and then of course like I mentioned earlier, the bull pen. I mean just continuing to execute each pitch."
That series started today up in Stillwater.
