The Wylie Bulldogs fell to Aledo in their first game of the Abilene Baseball Tournament 6-4 Thursday morning.
Aledo got on the board first scoring two runs in the second, but Wylie quickly recovered, tying it up 2-2 after Jaxson Money scored Mack Mueller and John Paul Tople scored another.
The Bulldogs could not hold on to their lead. Aledo retook it scoring three in the sixth and one more in the seventh making the score 6-2. Ja cob Ashkinos hit a ground ball up the middle that scored two runs.
Wylie added two more runs in the seventh, but it wasn't enough as they fell to Aledo.
In Wylie's second game of the day, Lubbock Christian scored two runs in the top of the 7th inning to beat the Bulldogs 8-7.
Wylie is scheduled to play Cooper and Sweetwater on Friday.
