The ACU Wildcats' spring practices are in full swing now, and all eyes are focused squarely on the battle at quarterback.
Parker McKenzie and Dallas Sealy both made starts in 2015, and both had some offensive success.
They each bring different skill sets to Ken Collums' offense. Parker can pick defenses apart from the pocket, and Dallas is able to hit guys on the move. That is a good problem for coach Collums to have, but there is no question that both guys are gunning for the QB-1 spot.
"Well, both of them have experience now, and we know what we get with Parker, which is consistency," Collums said. "He's a good football player. Dallas still has growth potential, which is pretty exciting because he can throw a strike, so we're excited about him, but we're excited about Parker's leadership, and so those'll be our main guys, and the best guy will play, so we're ready to watch them."
The QB competition is expected to continue all spring
