The Wylie Bulldogs picked up two wins Saturday in the AISD Tournament. The Bulldogs beat Lubbock Christian High, 4-2, and took down Odessa Permian, 10-5.
In their first game, the Bulldogs were down by one, but Tyler Henson hit one past a diving center fielder. It turned into an inside the park homerun, and the Bulldogs tied it up a one.
Later in the game, Riley Hedge hit a line drive into left field. Lane Bourland scored on the play, and put Wylie up 2-1.
The Bulldogs would go on to beat Lubbock Christian, 4-2.
In their second game of the day, the Bulldogs were taking on Odessa Permian.
In the fourth inning, the Bulldogs were leading by one, and added to their lead when Riley Hedge got a big hit into left. John Paul Tople and Bryce Gist scored on the play to give Wylie a three run lead.
Later in the inning, Cameron Hannah sent a grounder up the middle that scored Hedge to increase the Wylie lead.
