The Abilene High Eagles fell to Central, 3-2, Tuesday afternoon, dropping the Eagles to 0-2 in district play.
The Eagles took an early lead when they were able to score off a throwing error by the Bobcats.
Abilene High added to their lead when Noah Gonzales got a bloop single to drop into center. That scored another run for the Eagles, and extended their lead to 2-0.
The Bobcats would answer back in the third inning, scoring three runs to take a 3-2 lead.
Central would be able to hang on from there as they take this one 3-2. The loss drops Abilene High to 0-2 in district play.
