The ACU Wildcats are ready to get the WNIT going after finding out they will open up with UTEP Thursday night.
This is uncharted water for most of the Cats. Only Whitney West-Swinford and Paris Webb have any sort of collegiate post-season experience.
So one of the biggest questions surrounding this one is how will the team handle the pressure?.
Coach Julie Goodenough is confident her girls will be just fine.
Coach Julie Goodenough said, "Well I think kind of the theme the last few days has been lets just act like we've been here before. We're waiting for the selection show. We're waiting to see where our name will appear on the bracket, and in the meantime we were preparing and fine tuning the tools that we have in our toolbox right now. Now the next couple of days give us the opportunity to get ready for UTEP, and come up with a game plan that we think will help us be successful. So, now I think we can be a little more focused about our approach."
