KANSAS CITY - Hardin-Simmons junior center Justin Jones has been named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III all-South region second team.
Jones, who last week was named first-team all-South by D3hoops.com, adds this honor from the coaches in the region. He averaged 12.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and led the nation with 122 blocked shots.
He was named the ASC defensive player of the year and was first-team all-ASC.
Jones helped the Cowboys to their first American Southwest Conference title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. HSU went 19-11 on the year.
