The Cooper Lady Cougars are 1-0 in district play after beating San Angelo Lake View 2-1 in their district opener.
Camille Scott had it going early in the game for the Lady Cougars. She got Cat Guerra to state at a called third strike in the first inning.
In the third inning, Scott was still dealing. She got Ariel Rivas to swing and miss to end the third inning.
Lake View was leading 1-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning, but the Lady Cougars were able to score two runs in the frame for the walk-off win.
Cooper won the game 2-1, and start out district play 1-0.
