All four Abilene Independent School District soccer teams are getting ready to start the playoffs this week.
The Abilene High Eagles get the best deal. They are playing Fort Worth Paschal at Shotwell Stadium Thursday night at 8:30.
The Abilene girls are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2012. They are going to be in Mineral Wells Thursday night for an eight o'clock kickoff.
In class 5A, the Cooper Lady Cougars are headed north Thursday night for their bi-district championship game. The play Amarillo Palo Duro at Frenship High School at 8 p.m.
On Friday, the Cooper boys are set to play a matinee against Canyon Randall. The Raiders and Cougars meet at two in Lubbock.
