    Seniors Lead Jim Ned Indians

The Jim Ned Indians continued their winning ways on Tuesday with a 4-2 victory over Ballinger.

The Indians are ranked 5th in the state and enter the second half of the week with just one loss on the season.

Experience is the biggest thing driving this year's team.

Jim Ned has a dozen seniors, and they are doing the job of leading the team.

"I mean this older group, and I've had my seniors since football season was over, working during the period. There's 12 of them," head coach Vincent Lavallee said. "So, we're ahead of where we want to be as far as what kind of shape we're in, and how we're playing the game. It's just fun. We're having a good time."

"I mean most of us have been on varsity for three years, so our experience level is really high," senior Cade Johnson said. "We bring that to the field, and we just use it during games and we know what to do."

That victory over the Bearcats means the Indians are 17-1 overall and 2-0 in District play. No. 14 Wall is up next on Friday.
