The Abilene High Eagles dropped Friday's contest to Odessa Permian, 6-2. The loss drops to Eagles to 4-5 in District 3-6A play. Permian takes the overall season series 2-1.
Early on, Permian's Mike Guadarrama hit a fly ball into center field. The Eagles couldn't make a play on it, and a Panther was able to score on the play to give Permian a 2-0 lead.
Tyler Baker would settle down for the Eagles, and was able to strike out Braxton Pena.
The Panthers would answer back. Seth Higdon brought the heat, and got Terrell Franklin to strike out.
