    Game 1

Hardin-Simmons pounded four home runs and Colton Spears pitched his third complete-game shutout of the season as the Cowboys won 15-0 in the first game.

Spears allowed just three hits and struck out a career-best five batters to improve to 6-3 on the year. Parker had a solo home run in the fourth and Parker added his fourth home run of the day a two-run shot in the fifth to make it 6-1.

HSU starter Jeremy Hallmark had cruised through the first five innings but got in trouble in the sixth. The Wildcats scored on a wild pitch and a bloop two-run double by Zane Corbell to make it 6-4. Mike Richardson came on and got out of the inning.

Richardson worked three innings of relief and struck out five and allowed only two hits. He walked the leadoff man in the ninth and the Cowboys went to Cooling, who leads the nation in saves with 11.

He struck out Martin and Kiefer Moore had an infield single in the hole at shortstop and Cody McNeal followed with an RBI single to right, Ball made a strong throw to the plate but Elijah Perez couldn't get the tag down. Deaulton Delgado hit a grounder to third and Caleb Jacques made a nice backhand stab and threw to second for one out but the relay to first Moore scored to tie the game.

Caleb Jacques then led off the ninth with a walk and moved to second on a wild pitch. After a Cooling fly out, De Luna delivered a walkoff single down the line in left.
