Riley Casey to Represent Cooper in State Golf Tournament

Schools all across the big country are gearing up for the state tournament., and one young man already has some state experience.

Cooper golfer Riley Casey is preparing for his second appearance at the state tournament.

The Cougar senior will be an OU golfer come the fall, but right now Casey's focus is on winning state and representing Cooper High School.

He loves the competition at state and says he feels good about his game at this point.

"It's been fun for me playing for Cooper these past four years. I was able to go to state last year, did fairly well, so this year it being my last tournament for Cooper, I want to try and go off with a good finish," Casey said. "I remember the course from last year. We're playing the same course, so just trying to prepare my game to fit the course. I'm swinging better right now, I feel like, than I was last year so hopefully can get a good tournament. The competition I love competing that's what I love to do."

The 5-a state tournament runs Monday April 25- 26 in Cedar Creek
