We're heading into the final stretch of the high school baseball regular season, and the Cooper Cougars only have two games left to lock up their seed in the playoffs.
They were taking on San Angelo Lake View Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars started out hot on senior day scoring one run in the first inning.
In the bottom of the first the Chiefs had an answer and tied it up at one.
Cooper added two more runs in the second inning and then two more in the fourth.
The Cougs added two more runs to their lead taking this one 7-2.
They'll close out the regular season Friday at Lubbock High.
