The ACU Wildcats dropped Saturday's game to Sam Houston, 3-1. The Wildcats will look to avoid the sweep tomorrow afternoon at 1:00.
Sam Houston took an early lead when Spence Rahm got a base hit, scoring Riley McKnight. That put the Bearkats up 1-0.
ACU would get on the board when Derek Scott scored when the Bearkats catcher over-threw third. That tied things up at 1.
Sam Houston would retake the lead when Taylor Beene hit a solo homerun to give the Bearkats a 2-1 lead.
They would add another run in the eighth inning.
