Over in Hawley, the Lady Bearcats hosted Seymour in game one of their best of three series.
The Lady Cats showed a lot of power in the first inning after giving up two runs in the top of the first.
In the bottom of the first the Lady Panthers made some costly errors.
Kaylee Rice dropped a sacrifice bunt, and the Lady Panthers overthrow first base as Marissa Hall scores for Hawley's first run of the game.
Then another error by the Lady Panthers allows Alex Chavez to score.
The Lady Bearcats added four more runs in the first, and they took the game 9-7.
The series continues and moves to Seymour on Friday.
