The regular season finale for the Cooper Cougars took place up in Lubbock Friday afternoon.
It was tied at one in the third when Zach Goodson hit a shot down the right field line. It went to the corner, and Goodson made it to third for the triple.
Brandon Boshears brought Goodson home when he singled through the right side. Cooper led 3-1.
Later in the inning, Ender Freeman smacked a base hit to right field and one run came in and put the Cougars up 4-1.
The Cougars finished the regular season strong as they close the season with three straight victories and finish the year 8-4 in District.
