The high school softball playoffs are underway, and the Abilene High Lady Eagles were looking to punch their ticket to the area round.
All the need was one win on Saturday as they took on Fort Worth Paschal up in Graham.
The Lady Eagles looked like they picked up where they left off on Friday when Tori Bryant slapped one to short and scored Brittni Hill.
That run put Abilene up 1-0.
The score held until the fourth inning and then the Lady Panthers broke away.
Alisha Jones slammed a line drive past the right fielder and Paschal led 5-0 after four, and they kept rolling.
In the bottom of the sixth Maggie Hurst smashed one to the right center wall scoring two more runs for the Lady Panthers.
Paschal went on to run rule the Lady Eagles in six innings. They took the game 12-2, and that would force a deciding game three.
In that game three, the Lady Panthers dominated the majority of the game, but Abilene fought back in the sixth inning, however, the Lady Eagles fell 8-4 and are eliminated from the playoffs.
