The Fellowship of Christian Athletes held their annual all-star festival banquet Sunday evening at the Civic Center.
This year's participants and their families were in attendance for the event, and the second half of the event was MC'd by bigcountryhomepage.com's David Robinett.
The athletes were able to hear from former major league catcher Jim Sundberg, and it was a great event put on by the FCA.
"This is an amazing event. I have not seen anything this big for FCA myself either," Sundberg said. "I got some literature on it before I came and began to realize, oh this this is kind of big stuff out here, and so just the time I've had with the folks here in this room is such a sweet fragrance of, just nice people, and I love being around nice people who are athletic minded."
The All-Star Festival will begin on June 4th with the boys and girls basketball games.
Baseball and softball will be on June 10th and football and volleyball will be the 11th.
