RICHARDSON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' freshman tennis player Alex Hunt was named the American Southwest Conference West Division most valuable player and five Cowboys were honored by the league's head coaches in their yearly awards.
Hunt, a freshman from Odessa Permian, was named the ASC West MVP and the ASC West freshman of the year and was also first-team all-ASC West at No. 1 singles.
Junior Andrew Eurek was named first-team all-ASC West at No. 6 singles and Hunt and Eurek were named first-team all-ASC West at No. 1 doubles.
Sophomore B.J. Farmakis and freshmen Griffin Weinkam and Keenan Nash were named second-team all-ASC West at No. 3, 4, and 5 singles.
