Sonora held a 2-0 lead going into the second inning, but the Bearcats tied it up in the top of the 2nd inning.
David Matschek delivered a 2-run base hit to right field to drive in two runs to knot the score up.
Ballinger took the lead with three more runs in the 3rd inning.
