Colorado City was looking to claim the Area Championship over Breckenridge Saturday morning.
The Lady Wolves jumped on the board in the first inning when Makaylah Rivera sent a high fly ball into right. That sac fly scores one run, and an error by the Breckenridge catcher allowed another run.
After the top of the first, Colorado City led 3-0.
In the bottom of the first it was Breckenridge's turn.
Emma Davis knocked a sacrifice fly of her own to center to bring home Alyssa Reyes for the Lady Bucks' first run of the game.
The Lady Wolves finish the job done as they take the Area Championship with an 8-3 win.
