In the Class 3A softball playoffs, Clyde and Coahoma finished up their series Saturday afternoon.
Clyde was looking to take the area championship with a win over Coahoma who was trying to force a game three.
Clyde trailed in the third, but their bats came alive when Rachel Dugan smacked a rip into the outfield. The fielder bobbled the ball allowing two runs to come home, which cut the Coahoma lead to three.
Later in the inning, Haven Williams raked one into the outfield and two mores runs score.
Clyde only trailed by one, 8-7.
In the fourth it was tied at eight and Clyde moved in front when Dugan hit ball to short and a run scored giving Clyde a 9-8 lead, and they held on to it.
Clyde takes the game 15 -10 and claims the area championship.
