    Hall dominating for Lady Bearcats

The Hawley Lady Bearcats swept Eldorado to claim their Area Championship last weekend.

The Lady Bearcats are riding the right arm of pitcher Marrissa Hall this season.

She's the only pitcher that is getting any significant time in the circle, so far this season, and it's working out.

It's a heavy load for a Hall to carry, but she and her teammates say she's doing just fine.

Marrissa Hall said, "I feel like I have to work harder and be confident in myself and focus more since I am the only one. It's kind of a hard job. I try to overcome the obstacles I have."

Cassidy Meyer said, "She's definitely handled it really well. She always works through it. If she's every tired or anything, we call a time out, talk it through, focus on what she needs to reset her mind on, and she works through everything, been pulling it out, and doing real well."

Hall, Meyer, and the rest of the Lady Bearcats have their hands full this weekend.

They face Windthorst in the regional quarterfinals.

Game 1 is Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at ACU.

Game 2 is Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Graham with game 3 to follow, if needed.
