    Wildcats fall to Texas Tech, 7-2

    The ACU Wildcats fell to the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 7-2, Tuesday night at Scott Field. It was the final home game of the season for ACU.



    ACU took an early lead when Aaron Draper hit an RBI single that scored Austin Call. That put the Wildcats up 1-0.



    The Wildcats continued the scoring in the second inning when Russell Crippen hit a single between first and second. That scored Draper, and gave ACU a 2-0 lead.



    Texas Tech would get on the board in the 4th when Hunter Hargrove hit an RBI single scoring Cory Raley. That made it a 2-1 game.



    The Red Raiders tied the game in the sixth when Tanner Gardner hit a homerun.



    Tech added another run in the 8th to take the lead, and then locked the game up with a four run ninth inning.



    Texas Tech would beat the Wildcats, 7-2. ACU returns to Southland Conference play this weekend with a three game series at Incarnate Word.
