Another softball game at ACU's Wells Field Thursday night was game one between Hawley and Windthorst in class 2A.
The Lady Trojanettes had a big second inning starting when Emily Schroeder knocked a little bloop into right field scoring two runs.
Windthorst led 2-0.
Later in the second, Emily Hise laid down a bunt, and the Lady Bearcats made an error on the throw which brought home another run making it 4-0.
On to the fourth, and it's Schroeder again.
This time she lifts it to right center as another Lady Trojanette slides in at the plate.
Hawley is in a hole in this series as Windthorst wins game one, 8-1.
Game two is Friday night at 5:30 in Graham.
