Colorado City was looking to take the series over Early at ACU Saturday afternoon.
In the first inning Makayla Deleon knocked a rip to second, but the Lady Wolves made a nice catch and throw to first to complete the double play and end the inning.
Later on it was Early's turn for a defensive play. Colorado City had a hard shot to third, but Lily Reagan snags it to end the inning.
Deleon was pitching well for the Lady Horns, getting Baylie Lindsey to go down swinging, but the Lady Wolves got it going late in the game.
They scored eight runs in the seventh inning to take the game 11-1, and with it they advance to the regional semifinals.
