The Jim Ned Indians started the third round of the high school baseball playoffs Thursday night up in Hermleigh.
The Indians played Reagan County in game one of their best of three series.
In the first inning, Tyler Bradshaw ripped one through the infield that scored Gerrett Frazier.
After one, the Indians led 1-0.
Bradshaw got it done on the mound too. Carlos DelRio watched strike three to end the top of the second.
Then with the bases juiced for James Gilmore, he smoked one into the outfield that it made it to the wall in center.
That hit cleared the bases, and the Indians led 4-0 at the end of the second.
The Indians were able to hold off the Owls to take game one by the final of 5-3.
Game two of the series is back in Hermleigh at 1 pm.
