    Playoff Experience Propels Wylie

The top-ranked Wylie Bulldogs are one of six Big Country schools still alive in the postseason as we head into fourth round.

The Bulldogs are steam rolling their opponents, so far this year.

Head coach Clay Martin's team scored 51 runs in five playoff games, while giving up just two runs.

Most of this Bulldogs' team has been here before, and they say that helps everytime they take the field.

Mac Mueller said, "The last 2 games were really free and easy when it comes to playing. Even when we're up by five or six runs, it feels like we're up by a lot more than that. It's just a testament to our majority and being able to play as a whole team last year and kind of show up and have the experience of so many rounds deep in the playoffs and that really transfers over this year."

Coach Martin said, "I think you just have to have the ability to concentrate on your team to work on the things that you can do and worry about us. That's what we've tried to do this year, and I think these guys have done a great job of that."

Wylie takes on Snyder on Thursday in Snyder at 7 p.m. in the regional semifinals.

Game 2 of the series is Saturday at 4:30 p.m. at ACU.
