Lady Bulldogs Getting Used to Turf Field

The Clyde Lady Bulldogs are one of four Big Country teams in the regional finals this weekend.

The Lady Bulldogs don't play on artificial turf in the regular season very often, but since the playoffs began, 3 of 4 series have been on turf, and they are back on the fake stuff this week.

We asked head coach Erica Jones what are the advantages to turf during the playoffs.

Head coach Erica Jones said, "Yeah, the girls are confident on the turf. It's one of those things that helps them not worry about, 'Is our game gonna get moved?' At the same time, it takes the stress level out. It makes it to where we have this good facility that we can take advantage of."

Game one is Thursday at 6:30.

Game two is at 1:00 on Saturday.

All games will be played at ACU.
